Kitt
I will shortly be getting an RSR GTII and my local garage who don't exactly specialise in Supra's will be fitting it - is this a simple job as I've heard it's a direct bolt on which should only take upto 30 minutes; will I need any additional mounting bits and pieces ? Secondly, is the baffle easy to remove once the exhaust is on or is it best to remove it prior to fitting ? Let me have your technical thoughts ..... Cheers
Bobbeh
I presume your baffle will be held in by 1 nut and bolt like the rest of them. Dead easy to fit and remove.. just dont try to do it when its hot
Homer
Definitely remove the baffle prior to fitting as they're wedged in there pretty tight. Getting it out after fitting could be a very difficult job (Think someone else on the board had this problem recently) The fitting is very simple; the bolts are standard ones and are included. The existing rubbers used to hang the exhaust can be reused, but any exhaust place will have replacements in stock. My local exhaust place did mine in about 20 minutes... Hope this helps
Kitt
I think that about answers my question so thanks for the quick response guys. I'll let you know how it sounds once delivered & fitted !
geoffvalenti
Dead easy to fit if it's on a ramp and the bolts to the cat aren't seized. (Mine weren't) I'd advise removing the baffle first, as I had fun with mine when I left it in and had to remove it afterwards If yours is anything like mine, a bit of treatment with a file and emery cloth makes it easier to fit and remove in the future. (not that I think you'd want to ) You'll love the sound, I promise
