Matt H
apart from the black housing, what are the differences between the facelift and non facelift lights? basically im trying decide whether to buy new or refurb?
Ian W
assuming you're talking headlights, it's the fact you're side light isn't in the main housing but down in the bumper where the indicator normally is.
Jake
Yeah there's no sidelight in the facelifts. Also the lens has a lot less lines on it. It's got no lines at all where the beam shines out, only above that. Another thing, folks are always saying the facelift lights have black inners but they don't it's like a bronze colour

Jake
Nothing. There's no sidelight but there's not a hole either. It's a different design inner.
Matt H
oh right o.k then. umm I quite like having two side lights, one in the main housing then one in my facelight indicators. I suppose getting new ones would mean loosing that top side light. umm tricky. what do you think, refurb or new? bearing in mind new are £400! Jake
They have electric beam adjustment motors on the dipped beam as well but the dial inside the car and wiring is obviously not included. It's not a major job to rig up if you want that adjustment though.

Jake
Yeah it's not a major advantage. I think it's only there to give the UK owners something to play with while they're waiting for the turbos to spool.
