Tag Heuer 2000 quartz watch

1999 Tag Heuer 2000 quartz with red and black unidirectional bezel. Comes in wooden presentation box with stamped booklet, water resistant to 200 metres, sapphire crystal glass in immaculate condition. 37mm not including crown, will fit upto 7" wrist. Works fine, case is in quite good condition with only a few minor marks and some scuffs on the back, bracelet and clasp have some scratches as you'd expect from an 8 year old watch. The bezel itself has suffered a few scuffs but again it's not terrible and in keeping with a watch of this age. Overall a nice 2000 with a bezel colour that you don't see very often. Bought on impulse rather than desire and I don't wear it so no need to keep it really. I'll take £250 plus delivery which won't be more than a few quid.

Well, to be honest I only bought it late last year as I liked the look of it without really thinking about as I didn't need it to replace anything. Was wearing my Seiko SKX009 diver as a beater but have recently started wearing my Tag Indy 500 as an everyday watch. Been looking at getting a Sub but it's a lot of money for me and would require a conscious effort - really want one though :)

how about an Omega?

i've got a Seamaster, fantastic watch. The Speedmaster is also an excellent watch.

Already got one ;) Was lucky enough to receive a Seamaster Chronograph for Xmas, absolutely adore it, though not even worn it out yet, waiting for a really special occasion. Speedy would be nice but every extra watch I buy puts a Sub or Navitimer further out of my reach. Would rather wait a little and go for one of those two before working my way through the rest of my my most wanted watch list.

to be honest, i just don't really think much of Rolex's. too pricey and rattley for what you get.

enjoy the Seamaster and save up a bit for a Breitling?

You know it's funny, for me the Navitimer is my absolute favourite watch and owning one would really be a dream come true, but recently I've developed quite a taste for the Sub. You make a good point about it being overpriced for what it is, I think the Seamaster is its equal in many ways, but I still think it's a smart watch and would definitely like one.
