Is it a FourTwo or a Roadster ?

Either way, you have just got to get it chipped :)

A couple of hundred quid and your over 100 BHP in a car that weighs about the same as a babybuggy !

Brill fun....

Big wheels (wide) for ours next... :D

Have fun...........

I had a ForTwo as a work car before I got the Supe. Great little thing for bombing through town in. I managed about 80mpg! Only thing I didn't like was the sluggish gearbox when in automatic. Quite a few times I'd slow down coming to a roundabout then try and accellerate through and the autobox just jast there confused with the car coasting halfway across the junction until it worked out what it should be doing.

I think 95 bhp is about right for a stock brabus. I'd be wary about chipping it as I read too many tales of engines going bang within a few months of chipping. Plus at the time, it was about 500 quid for summat like an extra 15 bhp!

Fun little things though, congratulations.

On a stock ForTwo, you chip from 64 BHP to 81 (or may be 84) BHP for £150.00 !

Digitec sorted the chips out years ago and now lots of pople have them done.

Did ours about a months ago and it not only makes it a very nippy litle car, but it makes the gears more usable especially 6th.

I drove a smart not so long ago. Is the brabus more powerful then? I think its the ideal complement to supra ownership. Small stylish and sexy.

Yes the Brabus is the most powerfull at i think 100 hp, i drove the roadster today and loved it apart from its silly low, a bit hard on the suspension and the gear change isnt brilliant.

Looks great in 1 colour though

I had one a while back, had the Brabus engine in it

( ForTwo "Nightrun" )

Nippy in town, but the turbo lag was horrific, and I has

lots of problems with the computer controlled clutch

"forgetting" exactly where its bite point was...

(read: lots of lurching when moving off)

It was also bloody dangerous when having to do emergency

braking at 80 mph due to some plonker pulling out in front...

...car jumped sideways by 1/2 a lane in a split second and just

missed clipping the central barrier :taped:

and this with no steering inputs from me!

I do wonder what the newer 1 litre engine & 5-speed

semi-auto box is like, but can't afford to buy a new one.

Bummer, I liked getting over 50 mpg...

Sorry to ask a few Q's but I'm thinking of getting one for cheaper fuel/tax etc and I dont know too much about them...

What are these cars like to maintain and run etc...

Are they any good on the motorways as I travel on them quite a lot? (Economy)

when you say they are nippy how nippy? Would they outpace an N/A or decent hot hatch?

Are they front or rear wheel drive?

This is for the Roadster by the way!
