mikeyb10supra
hi guys just bought a supra non turbo, it has a full exhaust and induction kit. how do i make it faster? Buy a turbo for it.....thats the long and short off it, you can buy Nitrous but your then playing russian roulette with the engine Take the induction kit off and fit a stock airbox, Double De-Cat, Cams and some engine work willl see you a minimal power increase but thats as much as your going to get without slapping a tubby on it Oh and Welcome
Havard
Yep as Mikeyb said, not much milage in tuning the NA. Either swap it for a TT of put a single turbo on your NA. Will cost about 3k though!! Welcome to the club anyway!! H.
mikeyb10supra
Will cost about 3k though!! I would use this as a base figure as well, 3k really is the bare minimum for the conversion, I would be looking to spend between 5-10k for a decent conversion (by decent I mean everything uprated)
Nic
Welcome to the club It is difficult to get a lot more power out of the 2JZGE, without spending big money on a completely rebuilt engine. In terms of simple bolt on mods there are: NA tubular manifold (around 8-12hp increase) http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/8473/p1030161sa4.jpg http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/1491/dsc00313hh4.jpg See details of the one I sell here: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=83236 Perfomance exhaust De-cat pipes (remove the 2 x cats) Replace the induction kit with the stock airbox. Most aftermarket induction kits give negligable gains and can in fact reduce power as they suck in hot air from engine bay. The stock airbix has 2 x cool air feeds and is not restrictive. Fit the bigger 4pot/2pot Supra brakes (most NA's are fitted with the smaller 2pot/1pot brakes). Better brakes will make you car faster. I can suply these at good prices, see details here http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=98436 NOS (good gains but expensive to refill bottles). Bolt on turbo kits (good gains, but expensive) http://www.powerhouseracing.com/files/catalog.php?make=Toyota&model=Supra%20NA&catagory=Turbo%20Upgrades http://www.boostlogic.com/parts/supraNA/info_supraNA_TurboKit.html

You don't hang about do ya! N/A-T is the fastest way forward for an increase with the N/A (literally) its not cheap if you want it done properly but will be worth the pennies as I hope to confirm in the near future!!! Welcome by the way
