dan4
Right there is a problem with fuel from tescos supplied by esso, it is killing lambda probes at a ridiculous rate. The problem is so bad now that Manufacturers are exhausting their stocks More info to follow as soon as i know more about the exact problem
Gamer
What do you expect from Esso ? IMO, I would never put Esso into my car unless I had no choice at all. I would keep the boost down to 0.8bar until I got some proper SUL into her (Optimax, Tesco 99, BP ultimate). I am assuming that you do not mean it is the Tesco 99 that is fouling the lambdas ? Alex
Hmmm interesting....I'd love to hear more about this. If Tesco99 is killing engines there's a huge mountain of humble pie ready to be handed out

I think he's started off a chinese whispers game...if we all have a stab and getting it wrong we'll end up saying, LPG from BP is bad! I ran for about 15 miles after and I didn't notice anything wrong... havn't used it since, should I be worried?

Joe, in some areas Esso supplies, in other areas Tesco supplies Our local Tescos gets its 99 RON from Esso, 5 miles away it is delivered by Tesco. supragold
Apparently (according to the radio) its mainly the south east area that has the problem and several thousand cars have been affected. How true I don't know.
Darren
Is it worth watering it down with some other fuel? If you already have it in your tank? I filled mine up in the south east...
