RobSheffield
In Terminator 3, the woman in the red suit can find John connor no matter where he goes, despite millions of people nearby, in which case, in the 'future' how the hell could he survive since there are going to be more than 1 of her, all the liquid steel T1000 types and all the Arnie type terminators? In the Matrix, they say that if they die inside the Matrix they die outside too, why didnt they back their minds up on massive hard drives (it was the future right) and load emselves up that way - saves that uncomfy looking spike in the head malarky, and prevents em all getting thinned out Any more boring observations from films? Kopite
But wouldn't you WANT to be found by Kristanna Lokken?
RobSheffield
Yes, she was lovely, but bear in mind Ro that she WAS trying to tear him to bits, and not in a nice way
tbourner
Cause by the time he was in the future at a point when T100s were built, he was hard enough to beat them, then the T1000 came along and he was even harder and had even more troops/weapons to beat them with, and then when TX comes along again he's kicking butt with his newest laser gun thingy!!! The mind's too fragile to just back up, it's a complex thing and even though the machines seemed to be able to control it quite easily they still aren't really sure how it all goes together, they only know the theory of what's going on. Plus I'd be willing to bet even with 200 terrabyte drives it wouldn't be enough to save a lifetimes knowledge. How come in the Butterfly Effect he stabs his hands on the spikes in class and the 'stigmata' appear to the bloke in the prison, surely him doing that would rewrite history and the scars would always be there, the black guy would just be like "Yeah so what you've shown me those scars before". DaveK
Plus I'd be willing to bet even with 200 terrabyte drives it wouldn't be enough to save a lifetimes knowledge. I reckon mine would fit on a ZX81 - even without the 16K RAM pack (I bet half the people on here are too young to even know what a ZX81 is!).
