GeordieSteve
Doesn't that mean removing the bracing? There seems to be a lot of bounce on the manifold as it is
terribleturner
Bounce?? Has it got any braces accross the top?? Yeah usually the manifold is clocked before it's bolted on.
Homer
That breather pipe is a bit close, get one of Michel Lanes turbo blankets and it'll seriously reduce the heat in that area in the mean time. Seeing as you have a proper fitting welded on it'll only cost a few quid to sort out some proper routing for it Hope its running well otherwise, always good to see one of these projects finally come together. GeordieSteve
Yeah it has (can't see them in the pics). Taking the manifold back off wouldn't be too much of a problem
Homer
I wouldn't bother clocking the manifold seeing as it's all fitted now. Mine worked out fine in the end without the need for doing it (along with most of the turbofit cars)

Jake
It's not the prettiest install, is it. What's the score with that intake pipe (from the air filter to the compressor)? It looks horrible. The vent hoses look a mess too but I'm sure that's just a temporary rig up, right? (please say yes ) And the water elbow looks like I welded it! GeordieSteve
Not pretty at all sadly. Shame when I spent to much on bling a while back. All being replaced however. This job just needed to be out of the garage... all tidy bits get done afterwards Maz - Looking forward to it mate... bloody gasping now!
