terribleturner
I've thought about this on many occasions and thought i'd see if anyone else has. Say your having a nice drive along the motorway or dual carrageway and up aheah you see an ambulance with it's lights flashing, but it's not going the same speed that you are currently at. Do you either carry on reguardless and take him when you can, or slow down behind so as not to geet in his way??
Kopite
I've had this with Fire Engines, they don't seem to be able to do more than 80mph so i just stay behind

RobSheffield
Go past unless clearly he was pulling up at a 3 lane pile up
Class One
As long as you don't imepede their progress then there is nothing wrong with passing them. Just make you do so in a safe manner and give them plenty of space. Some of them travel very slowly on blue lights with spinal patients on board, so your wake could rock the vehicle. colsoop
I remember a few years back when i was in the forces and we were covering the fireman strikes. Driving green goddess fire engines that could only do about 35 mph (although i managed to get 75 out of once) , we had a queue of traffic behind us and a police escort that had to keep slowing down and blocking roundabouts so we didn't lose momentum
