Nic
Agree, the Tein Super Streets are the best value for money coilovers available for the Supra.
islandsupra
Are they that much better that the tein basics?
Chiefgroover
H&R outright winner of value for money. Spring rates suit not so smooth roads, top quality manufacture, height adjustable. About £750. If I needed some, I'd buy them !.
lucasl
has anyone got or tried the tein re, they have pretty hard spring rates, more focused for track.

Nic
Arent there anybody who is using hks hipermax coilovers? I use the HKS Hypermax II's, very happy with the ride quality. They are better quality and more expensive compared to the Tein SS, which is probably why they weren't suggested, as you said in your first post not expensive. The new HKS Hypermax III's will be available to order in the next couple of weeks. See pics here http://www.jdm-option.com/pr_HKS/HMax3/index.html

islandsupra
Hi Guys, I am contemplating purchasing the tein basics for my car... are they any good? how do they compare to the super streets? I honestly find the spring rates quite high compared to stock spring rates ... considering I live in the caribbean where the roads aren't the smoothest and the fact that the car is daily driven, besides being damaging to my back .... would the stiffness be damagin in anyway to the car? Also, how do these compare to a set of bilsteins shocks with HKS springs? Would really appreciate any help Thanks
supragold
All I know is is that Teins have just dropped their rates on some of their setups including superstreets
