...The most stupid things at times. Does anyone else ever find themselves doing something stupid like this.

I just went to pour myself a nice Jack Daniels and coke, so took a glass from the drinks cabinet and poured some JD, went to the kitchen to get some coke. Got to the kitchen (so far so good) opened the fridge door, picked up the MILK, and poured it into my JD:blink:

My first one aswell!!! Thought i'd try it anyway, but it kind of seperated and felt a bit funny on the tongue.

I'm now wondering if i've ever done this in the past after a couple and not noticed :D

I'm ALWAYS doing stuff like this:

This morning:

I turned the TV on with a slice of toast whilst simultaneously trying to bite a chunk off the tv remote.

Then at lunch:

I got a call from a person asking to speak to 'Anna'.

I thought "humm,... I don't know a 'Anna'." but my mouth said "hello, this is Anna speaking."

Really confused the person on the other end.

All true!! I promis!!

I'm going nuts

Did a similar thing this evening Rik. I had a pint of water on my desk, which I keep sipping from/refilling all day while at work... Finished around 7pm so went to the kitchen and poured an ice cold pint of Stella. Took that back to the desk, then thought I'd clean all the work stuff out the way. At some point I picked up the pint of beer, poured it down the sink while leaving the water. Took me several minutes to figure out what had happened to my well earned beverage :fool:

I think we are amongst the worst offenders here, wasting alcohol:complain:

Hope you had another one.

Aye, do silly stuff all too often. The milk in the cupboard, and cornflakes in the fridge is a common one.

The other is taking the wrapper off a rocky/penguin/biscuit snack of choice and then throwing the biscuit in the bin and then stand there for 10s wondering why you've got just a wrapper in your hand.

I'm so glad it's not just me.

Whisky with milk is actually (belive it or not) recognised drink :) It is usually called "White Russian" and I have to admit that i prefer whisky (JD in this case) with milk because of nice, specific taste, then whisky with bloody Coke . PROPER scottish whisky only with ice tho :)

when working at a garden nursery during college, we all have walkie talkies.

one day a call came over the walkie talkie "Jenny to Edd, Jenny to Edd"

Which i would usually have repied with "go ahead Jenny" but this time I replied with "F**k off Jenny"!!! my boss heard, 30 odd other employees heard, and so did about 50 customers queing! whoops!
