:) I actually like him even if he hates bikes with a passion  , He has IMO changed the way people report and asses ( is that a word ! ) cars although he is a little bit "one" sided sometimes..................i did like his report on the Richard Hammond "accident" and the views of his recovery

Cheers

Ian

He's a prize cock of the highest order but he makes good viewing.

I agree

he talks some real shit sometimes, like when he had a BIG thing about Vauxhall , especially Vectras, apparently it was due to Vauxhall not letting him have his own way over something or over so like a spoilt brat he went on to slag Vectras off at every opportunity

He has a sense of humour which is hard to get, he is also opinionated and arrogant as well.

I quite like him, he is clearly passionate about cars and portrays that well when he produces his articles and on Top Gear.

He is paid to offer his opinion on things, like it or loath it you'll still discuss it and thats all that matters to him and his the men in charge.

That's one of the few things he's right about. :)

Brillaint car mate, the old Vectra....no joking to have one is to love one..

Ive have been everywhere in my Sri ,(working away) done 130k miles , same clutch, just changed the original brakes. Maintenance, oil and filter every 6/8k, new tyres exhaust thats it.

Still pulls like a train upto 120mph

Get 40 mpg on a run , no probs (petrol 2ltr)

Lol did you hear him going on about how that Merc had too many "torques" last week? Is this an actual unit of torque or just something he made up :D

I remember when he was talking about the Elise going to America and how boring it was to put a Toyota engine in it. The crowd had a good laugh at that. He is a tit. Very funny tho :)

Clarkson is a cock.

He's an arrogant, opinionated, self centred, ego-centric, car-ignorant, arrogant (did I say arrogant already?) twat who I would probably hate with a vengeance if I ever met him face-to-face.

But as a presenter he's an absolute legend and worth every penny the Beeb pay him. :)

Well looks like this thread bought out all the bad comments, but at current 90% in favour of him, I'd say its a landslide :D

I like the bloke - I think he is very honest, and the man you see on TV is the same man outside of work - SOOO many of these presenters are nice on TV but c*cks outside, at least you know what you're getting :D

He is a twat... along with the rest of the so called motoring presenters.

James May is a poofter.

The hamster should be on a children's program testing out tricycles

Bit harsh if you ask me, certainly both may and hammond seem decent enough people to me. As for Clarkson, he is someone who speaks his own mind and doesnt care. I think he plays upto his image more than it being truely him. I think he is sound enough.

So in conclusion i think they are all great.
