michael
Supra listing shown on front page: http://www.ebaymotorssucks.com Seems there is a character called "Vladuz" who is highlighting security flaws, eBay won't admit they exist but it seems he's mesing with accounts from within the eBay servers rather than using phishing. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/02/23/vladuz_strikes_again/ http://www.ebaymotorssucks.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=658&sid=b6b0f5d14fd683d76738cd958fb7e064 http://blog.auctionbytes.com/cgi-bin/blog/blog.pl?/comments/2007/2/1171726205.html eBay just ignore the evidence, as well all know from the issues members here have had trying to get scam listings featuring their own cars
Havard
E-bay are beginning to look like a right ignorant bunch of crunts!! It dawned on me after looking for my car for a while that it wasn't worth the hassle of 1) trying to find a decent car and 2) any one that looked mint was a scam.!! I still don't understand why people pay up front and take thre gamble. The ratio of rip offs against genuine sellers must be getting close now! H. silvershark44
For the amount of miney that ebay make, im really appalled how bad they are at stuff like this. Things like, i can tell imediately whether a seller is legit or not. Especially on cars it sometimes so blindingly obvious. Yet the do nothing to prevent scammers. I have always hoped that something bad would happen to ebay, to shake them up a bit and improve the service.
Havard
. I have always hoped that something bad would happen to ebay, to shake them up a bit and improve the service. I thought they'd caught the guy who sent the letter bombs?? Obviously not!! H.
ivan
So that's obviously why Ebay sent me an email this week telling me to go online and change my password. And NO, they didn't give me a link to follow so it was genuine.
