Autobox doing strange things...

As above,

Sometimes when i put my foot down it does not kickdown.

Sometimes the gear change is really heavy.

I have checked the fluid and it is still red and at the right level.

Also the car does not feel as powerful for some reason

I dunno anyone got any idea on what this could be?

I hope the autobox isnt on its way out :(

Make sure the box is nice and warm then find a private road and floor it from 60ish. If you get lots of revs but no speed increase for a bit then the box is going.

I have this and it's now at the point where it kind of hangs at the change points. I also don't dare accelerate hard uphill. Sounds amazing but doesn't look too clever.

I had probs with my auto box doing strange things, like sticking gears and the car would pull off really slowly like there was no power. After some advice i had the Gearbox serviced, New oil, solinoids cleaned ect and it made a massive difference, the car was like new and the gearchanges were alot faster a smooth'r.

You will need a good garage that knows supras to do this though.
