Pete
We've got a trip to London this weekend that my mate bought us for Christmas. We have Friday Dinner, B&B, Sat B&B only. Also have tickets for the Tower of London. What else should we do? I've done most of the sites, I'm more interested in cool stuff that's not so touristy that you can't do anywhere else. Good food places for Sat meal, etc. Any ideas would be greatly received. Thanks.

terribleturner
Well being the Saturday you could always wander round Camden Market, although i still think it's the armpit of the world but alot of people like it. If you have the car you could head out west a bit to Hampton Court which is always nice.
Guest Nicholas
Go to gaucho grill for your meal pete and have the 1kilo steak http://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/reviews/8705.html It all depends on what you want to do, I went out after work on friday night with some mates and we ended up in a chinese restaurant at 4am got the first tube home at 6am be carefull though you can easily spend £250+ on a night out!! Last time I went to an Argentinian restaurant though it didn't turn out well. Not too worried about the cash seeing as the trip is kinda free. We were thinking Gordon Ramsey for dinner, but I suspect left way to late for that!
Guest Nicholas
The gaucho grill really is great they bring all the different cuts of meat out for you to choose from you can also choose any weight you like. There's also a go-kart track in Mile end it's turn up and drive at 8:00pm saturday for £

You'll really struggle to get a table to any of Ramsay's restaurant's they normally book 2 months in advance

Pete
The Palace Thought you may want a bit of culture. I'll probably do that today on the way in. Cheers. You should have made it next week Pete, then you could have driven out to the car meet at Boxhill As it was a gift I didn't have a choice. - Even so, I don't think I'd have gotten away with that one with Vicki. you can come do my work for me on saturday, you'll only be 5 mins walk from where i work! from the tower of london, wall down embankment, check out the belfast, then go to the London Eye. all very romantic (think im gonna be sick) If you work as a porn film director you're on. Did the St Katerines dock, Bridge, London Dungeons, river walk and Eye route last time we were there. Greewich is somewhere I've always fancied going actually. It's just across the river, Fancied Mary Poppins, but she's fully booked. Our trip to Amsterdam last month was more enlightening than SOHO. Thanks v.much guys, you've given me some much needed direction.

Chris Wilson
Mugging, a bit of terrorism, some money laundering down the Tottenham Court Road, how about a bit of steaming through Harrods before a good booze up and fight down the east end? Just let the locals be your guide, you'll soon get into it all Have a good break, I have bail money on hand in case it all goes wrong.
