BigRoy
Do you mean the lip had buckled due to an impact? I think whatever the damage it would never be "as" strong as it would have been before. But that wouldnt necessarily mean it was dangerous though. Who fixed it and would they not give some kind of disclaimer?
supratoy
yeah the inside lip was damaged and so was part of the wheel it was a place aclled esp in glasgow, i was recommended by a few ppl to go to them he said it looks k but he's not 100% cos its a magnesium cheers for the replys pls say its cool cos no money
Andrew Dunk Shaw
Ive seen people weld em back together and use them They will definately be weaker whether there magnesium , aluminium, steel etc just depends how bent you mean. I'd be concerned if there cast magnesium as they could have cracks that you probly wouldnt see, very hard to tell without seeing picky of the exact amount of damage. X-ray is the only way to be sure. Aerotop Dave
I think that's a big risk to run at speed on a wheel that's been bent back into shape. Surely any metal is gonna be weakened...? I wouldn't fancy the thing hitting something in/on the road at 80mph (or even 100mph). Safety first I think
