What are the differences between an NA-T conv. and a single conversion from a TT?

It's not the head gasket that makes the compression ratio higher on a NA, they have different pistons.

The NA engine also lacks the oil squirters which spray up under the pistons.

So, couldn't these parts be fitted to an NA?

Yes they could, the NA block should be moddable to accept oil squirters, maybe no the same squirters as the tt though. Piston wise you can no doubt have pistons customised to any compression ratio you require (money depending). Failing that theres always the volvo trick of 2 or 3 headgaskets!!!!

Get back to work, you tart or I'll lob my calculator at you.;)

They could indeed. It's the right way to do it really.

I'm wondering if not all tuners do this then.

theres a monitor here with your name on it if you do :p

Some tuners will probably try and get away with sandwich plates and multiple head gaskets combined with lower boost levels
