SIMON LC
Has anybody heard on the news, the spate of thefts from Ford KAs for they're radios because apparently the chip inside these radios allows you to encrypt satellite TV channels and watch for free?It sounds a bit far fetched to me but its becoming an epidemic in some towns and cities. If so ,how does it work? penguin
hmm... can't see that being reality - all sky would do is load new encryption keys into the sky box and send new private keys to the sky card

SteveR
AFAIK it's an urban myth, but is resulting in a lot of people stealing radio fronts from Fords (not just Kas).

DaveK
My g/f has a KA - I'm going to nick the stereo tonight. It's actually an aftermarket Sony but I'm sure that doesn't matter?
