:D LMFAO

Don't worry Dave, they were fine when it was in for the service.

Is it a daily driver?? rust spots are quite common mate, especially for a car that doesn't get used much.

Perhaps you should try braking a bit later then, say at 50mph when you're 25metres from the stationary car in front.

On my wifes workbus, (megane scenic) the Renault dealer told her her discs were corroded and needed replacing, cos of a bit of surface rust. Luckily she phoned me up and I told her to not change them.

Bit of a shame really, cos she crashed into the back of a Morris Oxford on the way home and broke her pelvis. Now it takes her all day to mow the lawn.

Not really, I was joking about the crash bit.

It gets used every day, but the journey isn't long and there's no heavy braking as such - highest speed is probably 50mph.

Even the smallest of runs through your estate would clear any surface rust... ;)

Ah, forget it folks, I feel a bit foolish - I noticed the rust when I came out to my car at work yesterday. It just occured to me that I could take some photos on me phone so I've just popped down but the rust has totally disappeared. Must have just been on the surface.

Thanks anyway :innocent:
