Hi you lovely leicester folk!

Need somewhere to park the beast thats free from speed bumps, ramps and can park all day (Saturday or Sunday) without taking out a loan  and on a regular bus route into the city centre? Cant park in usual place due to bollards and clearance issues which were not an issue with previous motor :p ta lolx

You can park it at mine if you want and the bus stop is 2 mins away :) town is about 25 mins on the bus.

Anywhere near city centre you will have to pay and display during the day :)

Hi Linda,

I was gonna say don't go anywhere near the city centre and the shires as poor old Thorena cries at the very sight of speed bumps :)

Hows it going anyway? Is she all fixed from when those idiots damaged her?

Mark

Hi Mark

I'm sourcing a replacement front bumper for it (Thorena, huh?mmm...interesting  :p ) rather than repair the front as that crack could resurface. Need to know of a body shop, that would do a pucka job, pref east or west mids so I don't have to be without it for long :( Lovin it to bits at the mo, still grinning like an idiot each time I get out of 'the beast' :eyebrows:

I've grown a speed bump radar in my brain since taking charge of my wee beastie:search: Yep, sold the yaris couple weeks ago so some £ free to do the bodywork and itching to get started.

Hows your TT getting on? BPU'd yet? Hows Vicky's scooby? Hope your all keeping well :) lolx

Im glad your having fun (apart from the fear of speed bumps). We are both good thanks. I love my TT and am currently collecting all the parts I need for BPU, although I needed to replace my clutch and flywheel a month ago and that has severely dented my funds :(

Hay ho :)

Vicki is happy with the scooby but she doesn't have the same passion for it as she did with the Supra :( unfortunately we need a practical car as well though so needs must :)

She was however pleased about having a 4WD car when the snow came down. She really hates driving on ice and snow but with the scooby she felt a bit safer.

What bumper you going for by the way???

spoilt for choice! quite like the Bomex UAD 148, 'big mouth' then I saw Uzthedentist's project - a TRD front - and thought, mmm maybe...

The stillen front has better clearance but not so stylish. Want something a bit different but not too crazy, ya know? Any ideas gratefully excepted! Though dad teased me about what a great snow plough the beast would be :( lol

LOL, it really would make a good snow plow :)

I like the Stillen to be honest. Although I think my favourite is the Whifbitz bumper.

Hi Mas,

Yer I have been watching that thread and I might come along to meet a few people. I don't really want to do a Dyno run as I am trying to save every penny to get the rest of my BPU bits. Im sure Neil will come a drive too. He's currently at home fitting his new exhaust so im off in a minute to go see if its on yet.
