Spardz
I had a similar set up a while back, set boost limit to 1.2, and they blew when i hit that. i would stick to 1.1 if your running standard ceramics unless you have the money to get hybrids/single just in case. MR SUPRA T
i have a uk spec supra, wouldnt the turbos be more durable than the j spec you had with the cerimac turbo set up - my original thoughts were 1.2 even, but you say your turbos blew up this was on a j spec right. Spardz
Yeah it's a j-spec, sorry didnt realise it was a UK, im sure someone on this board must be in a similar situation as you with a Uk spec, they bound to be along any..........minute..............now

Spardz
Im in Tring/Chalfont St Peter, depending on work etc. Its black (Surprise surprise), its off the road for a few months while i pay off another car to use day to day, the supra is modded far to much to use a daily driver now, should be back on the road in a few months. There is a few people in wycombe now with supras i think. Might get a bucks meet sooner than we think
Soonto_HAS_soop
Personally I'd get rid of at least one of your cats before hitting higher boost like that. By removing your cat/cats you'd get better spool times (needed on a UK) and the temps of your EGT will be lower as well. Ben..
MR SUPRA T
what is egt sorry if i sound like a fool for asking this the second cat will be removed next week do you think 1.2 is to high and i should stick to 1.1 maybe then

Guest Borsta
Really don´t think you should push harder than 1bar with the ceramic CT-21 J-spec. turbo!
MR SUPRA T
I have not got the j spec set up (the j spec turbos use the ceramic blades and the UK spec turbos use the steel blades which would be stronger and able to take slightly more of a higher boost i think 1.1 would be the best set up at the moment. 1.2 to at maybe a later stage once i can aford the intercooler does anyone know what would be a good one to go for as there are so many on the market. i have been looking a HKS because of the quality but if anyone can recommend other makes pls say
