Homer
We're now getting up to some serious numbers involved in this convoy. Just trying to get this number of cars out of Toddington services in one go is near impossible, and it is highly likely the convoy will get broken up once we leave the main roads. I suggest all of you bring a map book and/or directions to Pod itself, just in case you lose the main group. When we leave Toddington, can the first 10-20 cars please not race away at high speed, it's best to stick to 60 mph or so for the first few minutes, so everyone can catch up. Otherwise the others still trying to leave the service station will have no chance of grouping up on the motorway. Can we also keep the speeds down (below 80mph ), with such a large group it would be all too easy for someone to make a wrong move doing at high speed drive by. This is a fun event and the big convoys are the motorways are a great sight, so please, keep it safe folks

Keeping the speed down at the start is the key for everyone to injoy the fun and not just the ten odd cars that happen to get out first. Lui, I found, always does a good job of this! I vote Lui as our leader.
