merckx
Where's everyone going to get their 12V supply from? In the manual it says it consumes 1.3 Amps but it recommends using a 10 Amp fuse , I'm thinking the sensor might consume more than 1.3 while it's reaching working temp. Obviously it has to be an ignition swiched supply. I don't really want to connect a 10A fused item to an existing circuit that's going to be possibly overloaded . TrickTT
I've run a seperate 25 amp supply off the back of the ignition switch for all the aftermarket electrics. I just routed a cable round the dash and ecu area and back to the ignition switch in a ring main configuration, and i can just spur off with an individual fuse for all the bits i have - RLTC / AEM wb02 /avcr / gauges / edfc etc
merckx
I've run a seperate 25 amp supply off the back of the ignition switch for all the aftermarket electrics I wasn't sure if the direct ignition supply would have much spare capacity. I was thinking about an independent supply direct from the battery and swiching it with a relay using an ignition feed, I could also use this for all my extra devices in the car. merckx
i just connected mine to the headunit suppy... That's what I normally use, just didn't fancy having too much connected to the same place.
Angarak
I was under the impression the head unit supply wasnt on a 10amp circuit. I used the Odo loom for mine which is a 10amp circuit.
