MrDriver
Top Gear costs more then the biggest tv shows in Belgium all put together This episode was awesome again, that Merc was a joy to see. Pitty the performance was uncontrollable.
Jive
That was a fantastic episode, 911 sure did surprise me and Clarksons agreement that it was a great car was suprising. The Merc, well that was just mental, although most things from Brabhaus (spelling) usually are As for the reliant, well on the floor when that took off Who cares how much money they spend either, just carry on as you are please TG
silvershark44
Yeah great episode. I was really impressed with the launch, looked absolutely amazing. Real shame it didnt separate, would have loved to see the reliant robin flying down to earth.

peter richards
dont want to put a dampner on this , but what a waste of time and money . its as if they cant think of any motoring topics to cover , as they probably have done that in years gone by , so with a massive budget, wtf we will do something like launch a car , sorry guys boring . also, think of all the unnecessary pollution from the rockets , watched the last two shows , wont waste my time with the rest . edd_t
i liked that eppisode. the rocket was good. but am starting to think, every episode now has one of these special reports on it, where they show the first half at the beginning and the 2nd half at the end. im sure we never used to get one of them every episode, could they be running out of real content and perhaps manufactures arnt lending them their cars so much anymore? Scoboblio
I thought it was brilliant. Ok so over half of the program had nothing at all to do with cars, but I'd rather watch people trying (and coming so close) to doing the practically impossible than another review of a supercar or sensible family hatchback. It was a demonstration of what good old engineering and a bit of imagination can achieve. If Top Gear was like this when I was at school I would've paid more attention in science lessons! Whether or not it was best suited to a 'motoring' program though.... hmmmmm.
ellis
I'm going to write to the BBC and ask them to divert all of my Licence Fee to Top Gear from now on - the rest of the programmes they make are shite!!
Gaz Walker
I thought it was excellent. Honestly, I think theres not a show that comes close to it in terms of entertainment. I know that stunt cost a pot load of license payers money, but it was worth every damn penny IMHO. Gaz.
Nic
I've just finished watching last nights episode, the space shuttle robin was incredible it was a real shame it didn't separate and they were able to land it How on earth are they going to top that! monkey76364
If only it had landed.... i didnt thik they were going to make it so big! And i liked that Merc too... some one needs to looking into getting all the power to the road, with all these big engines none of them can deliver the power
black cat
gutted when it didnt seperate.... great explosion tho.. as some before asked,, how much did they spend???
Flip
Good to see our license fees aren't being squandered! Shame the Porka didn't make it onto their track and get "stigged", but nice nonetheless! Brabus was just insane, can't measure 0-60, easier to measure tire tread - 20mm-0mm! RedM
I think the problem with TG this season is that they've had to lose some footage and some planned items have been delayed until the next series. Partly this is due Hammond's Head/field interface. On another note, I'd love to see that 911 on the track and, daft question time, but what is better a 911 or a Carrera or are they the same? ellis
Was nice to see the 911 blipping round the streets of Lincoln too!!
