Gaz Walker
A friend of mine popped over this afternoon to see what car to get for 45k ish... He's extremely fussy on cars, last 2 were a Porsche 996 Turbo, then a 996 GT3 before that. 1) Its has to be a sports car (so a coupe) 2) It has to be very fast without doing mods (500hp+) 3) It must have realistic running costs, be well built, reliable, good resale value, great to drive and about a million other things. Were going to have a look at a C6 Corvette tomorrow, I listed just about every damn car I can think of and the C6 was the only one he'd not considered. Any ideas? Gaz. penguin
he could donate the 45k to charity and feel good about himself (i'm more then happy to welcome all donations for my "bird" sancuatuary )

DaveK
I'd have one of the cars he sold - although personally, I prefer 993 Turbos.

Gaz Walker
I'd have one of the cars he sold - although personally, I prefer 993 Turbos. We kind of agreed that would be the best thing he could buy, the running costs put him off though! Noble was the first thing I said also, he doesn't like them that much. Gaz. Id stick with some of the top of the range german stuff due to its reliabilty, what about an M6, dunno what the price tag is but i was at the side of one the other day and they are stunning. What about waiting for the new M3, it has a v8 and 400horses! Audi rs4 is another guddun!! He could fancy an M3 CSL, so an M3 is not out of the question. He doesn't like Audi's much, I said the RS4/RS6 were brilliant choices but he didn't care for them. Gaz.
