Guest mk47
Halal meat the process is way different to what we seen in that video - the animal is killed immediately that way they do not incur any uncessary pain and the blood will then leave their body before they are skinned/cut etc.
markymark
I think its unfair on 99% farmers who make an honest living giving the animals a comfortable life and treating them in a way which respects them. My father in law is a farmer, so I can agree with this. He is the most sensitive person towards animals that I have ever met - yes, I know he is only one person, but my partner comes from a farming community in N.Ireland where most farmers work under strict regimes with continual checks by government & animal protection companies. Think how much we all complain about what we pay for food - then we complain is Tescos put their eggs up by 5p. Most farmers hardly make a living these days due to us, the consumer. We expect lower prices every year (even with inflation) to the point that most farmers lose money on keeping/growing an animal. Most of the farms shown in the footage look like non-UK farms - I'm not saying it's right, my partner (growing up on a farm) couldn't even watch it, but it's probably the worst of the worst. Maybe we should all think about being willing to pay a little more for our food, British food, then farmers won't have to overcrowd animals etc... no excuse for the animal cruelty, but these sort of things happen every day, even to humans

However, you cannot deny that an animal that has it's throat cut does not die immediately, it bleeds to death. In my opiniion that animal has been killed inhumanely. It's fairly simple to conclude ---- which way would you choose if you had to go??

I know what to expect if I do, shock video that has been edited to show the worst of course. I assume that it is inhumane slaughter of animals otherwise known as Food. Pete
Thats not funny at all man... Joseph is entitled to his opinion. I disagree, but still found the GIF funny. (I don't think he's serious.)
