flyangus
Thanks for the friendly welcome guys!!!! I'm looking forward to it, I'll post up some pics too;) Compared to the 3000GT, it didn't 'feel' quite as pokey, but I guess that is because its an auto and you don't get the 'nodding dog' effect of gear changes! It was a continuous nice push and a much nicer drive overall!

Jake
Compared to the 3000GT, it didn't 'feel' quite as pokey, but I guess that is because its an auto and you don't get the 'nodding dog' effect of gear changes! Is the Supra BPU'd yet? It should be noticeably quicker once that's done. Did you suffer any of the transmission problems that the 3000GT is famous for? flyangus
Is the Supra BPU'd yet? It should be noticeably quicker once that's done. Did you suffer any of the transmission problems that the 3000GT is famous for? No BPU yet, but I'd like to take it over to Envy at some point and get the guys to breathe on it!! I have a Super Drager being fitted so I guess it's part of the way there. I didn't have any problem at all with my 3000GT, it was very reliable. I did replace the front discs with race discs because they were warped but that's it in 2 years of ownership.

Nic
Welcome Angus The Supra really comes alive when you remove the cats and up the boost, the turbos will spool up a lot quicker and you'll get a fair bit more power.

flyangus
Yeah, I've read the decat makes a noticeable difference but I would just be concerned about MOT's etc.
