JamieP
Is it possible? have people twisted them? i think one of mine is f**ked, when on the dyno im getting a vibration from the back of the car. (dont notice it on the rd) Had it up on TF's ramp and one looks to be out of shape when rotating at speed? Had the wheels checked and they balanced up fine, also has new rear disc's and pads. SUPRASUZUKI
I've seen twisted shafts on other vehicles during development. Never experienced one though, so couldn't tell you the symptoms.

supragold
I know its not the same thing but Karl with the red chargespeed twisted his prop so I can't see why you couldn't twist the driveshafts.
tDR
Powerhouse sell uprated driveshafts so that suggests they're a failure point at higher torque levels. Cheers, Brian.
Wez
Very rare but possible. Have you been doing lots of burn outs and drag launches as these all put extra stress on the shafts.
Homer
Have you been doing lots of burn outs and drag launches as these all put extra stress on the shafts. Of course he has Must admit I've not heard of a twisted drive shaft (on here) but have heard a few of the drag guys twisting/snapping the prop. TLicense
didn't dude twist one? EDIT - TLicense? Nope not I. Although whenever we do a full start with the car's at work we twist the driveshafts. Most teams then take them and bin them. As we're a little bit less well funded, we swap them over, left to right, so that the next time they get twisted back. No BS!
jamesmark
That is probably what is wrong with my car on the drivers side, but mines was caused with a knock.
