Todd
Toyota really did drop the ball with the mk3! I thought that till I drove one, was a more back to basics car, very similar experience to the MK1 MR2. The MK3 really was a fun car to drive, actually preferred the driving it to the MK2
mathew
how much was he asking for it micheal? he never did say. but his others he let go for silly money. the orange veilside mr-s (which had had £10k of mods alone) he got shot of for £10k. a really nice kitted 1996 mr2 turbo he sold for £5k. hes now got his eye on another mr2 spyder which is up for sale a few mils away. michael
I forget exactly how much it was but it was about £5k more than I was willing to pay I still fancy one, maybe with a V6 conversion, it's just that leaky roof and the flexi chassis that kind of puts me off but it would be cool for summer. mathew
yeah the roof with his was horrendous. so much so he took it off completely and kept it garaged only bringin it out on nice days. proper fidly aswell to put on and remove
michael
When Toyota refuse to put their badge on a car you know to expect a few niggles The roof seems to be a token gesture really, the cars came with a cover to go over the roof to stop it letting in too much water but that's no use when you are driving.
