Dave222
Can anyone help, I am in the process of buying another Supra that is a Manual J-Spec Supra, it is fitted with a TRD KPH speedo + the odometer reads in Km as well. The car is well modded T78 single & also has a Mines ECU fitted so the limiter has been removed (I assume). Two questions:- 1) Do you know who sells a convertor that will do both ie speedo & odometer. 2) Does anyone know who can map, if required, the Mines ECU. Cheers Dave. There is a chip that can be bought to convert this, Jurgen at J&M Imports sells them, send them a pm... The Mimes Ecu as a pretermined lock map that can't be mapped.. supRo
Thor also do a replacement stainless steel cover for the TRD speedo that goes upto 220 MPH. This is what I had done for my TRD 320 k/ph speedo I think the mines ECU removes speed limiter?
Need4Speed
The unit made by Thor/TRL is also very handy for fixing the power steering and active spoiler (if you have one) along with converting the signal for the speedo. It's easy to put a change over switch for the speedo feed to switch between mph and km/h - handy if you're a Le Mans/Nurburgring fan!
