After arguing blind with some muppet on a old forum (night-riders.co.uk) that his 1.6 nova will not do 150mph standard and did not beat a 2.5 bmw and will not beat me in the 1/4 mile i was then amazed to say the least that someone told me that they have a go kart, yes a go kart that will beat me in a 1/4 mile drag. Ok some go karts are fcuking qucik, but then he told me it was your usuall 100cc go kart track day run around that gets up to 45mph. hel win cause of power to weight. Where do people get it from?? Oh and he drives a pink 106 1.1 that has the same amount of torque as me aparently:( so just a heads up for you TT guys, keep your eyes out for them 1.6 corsa's and nova's, you could be in trouble:p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Enough said. yeah i got a supra!! thats my point!!!! im just amazed that people can argue blue in the face that 1.1's go karts and 1.6 corsas etc are so amazingly fast!!! i dont get it. i mean is it cool if is ay yes my NA has 400bhp and will beat a veyron if i get a good start? Still, makes for some funny reading. My cousin was banned a couple of years ago in his modified 1.4 Corsa SXi. He was clocked at an average of 126 over a mile, maxing at 146mph. Owning a Corsa, I have to say that the thought of going that fast in it would scare the willies outta me. However, choosing a modified nova over a stock Supra.... Glosphil Posted February 14, 2007 Share Posted February 14, 2007 Thats funny, howver I do know a bloke with a 2litre GTE nova with big webber carbs, custom manifold and shed loads of other stuff done to it and jesus does it go. Its gutted out completely and has had to have the chassis strenghtened to stop it ripping the engine of its mounts. Dunno if it would be a sorted supra but its very quick.
