Jake
Why are you buying wheels? Isn't your car miles away from being fixed?
Nic
You'll need to find out the offsets to determine if they are suitable for the Supra or not.
Guest CoolsBlue
my cars sold mate, new owners on this forum and have a feeling its going to be well know when its finished to, anyways i want to buy my next supra but theres no point yet as itll just sit there until im ready to run it, so buying my mods now, and when the cars here i can just put it all on in one shot

MikkyB
Ok, seriously - reality check time - you could buy yourself a nice car for the price of the alloys, one you might actually be able to get insured on within the next 5 years! For example, I am currently in the process of buying a mint 200SX S13 for 500 quid with tax and ticket for 6 months as a second car. It's more than fast enough for a first car, its not group 20 and it is RWD, so something like that would surely be ideal for you? IMO you really shouldnt be buying alloys for a car you don't own, you should be out having fun and enjoying yourself!
lockys96
get better than that. id prefer a set of rota gtr's
Dragonlady
get better than that. id prefer a set of rota gtr's Just bought some for winter and the offset is incorrect for the rear. They are a et30 at the rear, so to make them fit without rubbing, as ours did, you need to fit either 255's or have the arches rolled. RobSheffield
Why does your sig say owner if you dont own one?! When you are 35 and still driving the same car, not modded cos you can barely afford the insurance after writing it off at age 17, will you feel a bit silly? Fair play to have a passion and an aim, but maybe if it was a realistic passion 3 litre car at 17 is asking to die, and its going to gut you sooo much more when you crash it than if you crash a 300 quid escort
Guest CoolsBlue
nothing wrong with the sig, that was there from when i did have it, then added GONE!, anywho, how can you be so sure i will crash it?

RobSheffield
anywho, how can you be so sure i will crash it? Because statistically, if you dont in your first 2 years of driving, you will be in a massive minority

silvershark44
He asked the magic 8-ball. 'Signs point to yes' lol the thing you need to remember is, just because they actually fit your car, doesnt mean they will be a good fit in terms of handling etc.
MikkyB
So who exactly are you planning to get to insure you at the age of 17, with no experience, no NCB, probably on an N/A (import) without parents fronting? It's great to have a dream, but I can honestly tell you that buying cheap alloys off Ebay isnt going to get you closer to it. Simply looking at that as an example, if you don't buy them with tyres as part of a package, you will lose alot of money when it comes to getting the tyres seperately, but if you are buying the alloys with tyres but arent fitting them - you will have tyres that will degrade for a year - it makes no sense . . silvershark44
Just an idea for you............as this is what i did 17 - learning to drive, mums Mazda Demio! - oh the power!! Insurance group 2 17 - First car, Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRI. - easy to maintain, cheap to run, certainly quick enough at that age. Insurance group 6 18 - Toyota Celica 2.0 GT - Shape similar to the Supra, 30+mpg, certainly not slow for an 18 year olds car. Front wheel drive so no suprises, cheap to run/buy/maintain. Great looks. Insurance group 15 19 - Honda CRX Del Sol 1.6 SIR - Full Race suspension set up, nice exhaust, roll cage, removable roof. This thing went round corners like it was on rails! Great fun! Insurance group 16 21 - Toyota Supra Twin Turbo - I am a fairly sensible driver, but ive almost crashed the thing on a couple of occasions already! 21 was the first time insurance companies would even consider insuring me! Insurance group 19/20 Cars have always been a passion for me, and is still my main hobby at the moment. The Supra takes up a huge amount of cash, way way more than you think! £60 just to fill the thing up! and you can easily burn through that very quickly! And if your serious about looking after it properly, youll be spending so much money on the thing. Im not saying dont get one, but you really need a lot of money to run of these things.
