Paul Laing
Hi, i'm busy doing my boost controller install but having problems with getting the harness through the firewall and into the engine. I have a UK manual, is there any good easy ways? On the guide i have it says go through the yellow grommet next to the clutch, but i can't see where this comes out at in the engine bay. Any help on this? Cheers lads, Paul
SimonB
If you look down inside the wings each side there is a yellow grommit. It's kind of through an opening with a plastic surround on. I think the clutch one applies to autos?
Wipeout
The grommet I used is on the drivers side, up on the right hand side of the footwell. I found the best way is to push the wires from inside the cabin through the yellow grommet and then hook them from inside the engine bay using a coat hanger. If you look in the engine bay, down the drivers side wing on the inside you should be able to see the wire pushed through. HTH
Paul Laing
How hard is it to push the wires through the yellow grommet!!!! I've just pushed them through the side of the grommet and i think it's ended up in the wing, is this ok? Paul

Paul Laing
Woohoo, just finished the install. Cheers for the help guys! Cheers to ChrisB too for the advice he gave me on the phone. The install wasn't that bad really, just need to set the bugger up now though...... Paul
