Pabs
hey all... check this out. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-TOYOTA-SUPRA-twin-turbo-suport-roof_W0QQitemZ110086685239QQihZ001QQcategoryZ18290QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Now, not that i'm interested in it at all, i was just browsing, but what the hell is it? The engine, to me (a novice) looks like an NA, yet seller says it is a twin turbo. Also mentioned a T04b in the ad... Also says it is 422bhp.... on 93 octane fuel????? WTF? Is it just a scam, a badly translated advert, or a seller who doesnt have a clue? Or am i missing something? Discuss....

DaveK
I think if people really pay for a car that is clearly LHD in the photos, where the photos are clearly not in the UK, where "Toyomoto of Miami" installed the single turbo, "Carfax" shows no problems etc. - from somebody who only joined Ebay at the end of Jan and has no feedback - then they really don't deserve the money they would lose. Although I think these scammers are the scum of the earth - with half these ads it couldn't be more obvious unless they put "THIS IS A SCAM" in the ad - and you'd still get some muppets handing their money over. BASTARDS!!!!!!!!I tried reporting that one as a scam - it kept coming back as item number not known!
moistfinger
Thanks for trying Ivan. I've reported it 10 times and still nothing has been done about it. It has been a week since I first reported it! Ebay are bloody useless. I think they realize that they would lose a lot of money if they discouraged scammers from using ebay.
