Dash Panels

Can anyone help or offer advice?

My 1995 Supra n/a dash is looking a bit shabby, especially the upper dash panel and ash tray and gear panel. I've been quoted a fortune by Toyota for new replacements.

Does anyone know of a cheaper dealer for new parts, or refurb.?

Appreciate your help

Many thanks

Chilly

TBH mate I looked at the secondhand option too, but the replacements will still be likely to be marked (unless you're really lucky).

I bit the bullet and gave up my arse virginity to Mr 'T' for new panels, which do look great, but the alternative is to strip all the soft-touch crap off and paint it, which is far cheaper. Black/Grey is good if you want a stock look, or something more adventurous if not!

A good going over with white spirit will strip it and i'm sure there's lots of guys who can advise how best to paint it.

Thanks very much for the help, I dont know if the prices are dearer because i'm telling dealers that its parts for an import. I rang Halfords for some other stuff and the parts for an import were much more expensive than for the same parts for a uk spec. the cheek!

I thought about refurbing it myself but thought it might look crap. Will give that website a go though.

Cheers

Damn - why do I always find the cheaper parts too late. Lucky I'd not fully replaced every panel. :D

Jumping in on Chilly's thread, can you give me a price on:

1. Stereo Panel

2. Ignition Panel

3. Upper Warning Light Panel

4. Drivers Window Switch Panel

All for an early auto Supe (1993)?

Cheers - Mac
