Yep. Although most of the time I'm laying in bed, thinking about work.

I mean that's just not right is it?

Could I justifiably get overtime for that kind of thing? :eyebrows:

Technically you could get overtime. Although I don't have it in my contract... anything I do outside of work - i.e. like writing programs and designing software architecture is technically owned by my company.. mad innit!!! They do offer me extra time off though because they know I am up to support the Americans, Australians, South east Asians :):)...

I think the missus got a little narked the last time an Aussie rang me at 2:40am becuase he wanted to chat about a technical issue rofl .. oops.

I'm trying to do my fantasy footy team for tomorrow but I seem to have accidentally got too pissed to do it.

I also get insomnia really badly. I suffer from it because I have tinnitus after an accident with a tractor tyre 20+ years ago. I've learnt to not go to bed unless knackered or pissed - it's not a problem then.

There's nothing worse than laying in bed for hours on end trying to get to sleep. Usually getting out of bed and reading some of Green Peace's posts on here does the trick though. :D

As others have said, Insomnia, I've got pills from the quack to deal with that, but they have this get out clause of not drinking if you take them, so erm, I haven't taken them, as me and my housemate Snoop are on a mission to neck all of the booze in the house...

Sad but I do have low dose Amitriptyline to cope with the problems. It does work but leaves me with a head like cotton wool! Sometimes I am ok with sleeping, but the majority of times I am wide a frickin wake, even when laying in bed - sad but true. Tired as fook in the day on times. Stress related the doc says rofl... todays life = stress!
