mathew
didnt wanna say as i didnt wanna come across as a bragger but i got nowt else to post tonight. with our merger last year the work load has increased hell of a lot. currently doing a site management degree but due to the increase they are now short staffed so have more or less thrown me in at the deep end and put me as an external works manager on a new Morrisons development in llanelli. looking forward to a new challenge and will get reviewed at the end of the job in october to determine my status in the company. so my days as a humble bricklayer are up unless i fuck up big time on this job lol it also means a company car in october (depending how i do) so the supe will have to go. so anyone looking for an R reg supe around tha time il be open to offers. any site managers here or similar wana give me some pointers il be very grateful

razza
usually the company car list is a bag of shite, I look at it as keep the supe, then get a company car when the kids come and by that time the company car will be an M3 or a Merc....[COOL][/COOL]

gaz1
being a site manager is easy providing you have a good team, i often get let down with a lack of experienced workers from engineers to so called craftmen, simple fact mate is if you make the company profit you will do well, but if you don,t you won,t fact of life, but i wish you well its hard work but worth it;)
DaveK
woooahhh there razza!!! kids?!?! lol not for a long time i had a quick glance at the list and was pleased to see astra sport hatches on there. i think id be happy with one of those Bear in mind that there are tax implications with company cars. I had a quick look at our car list a couple of years ago, and it's not bad (Audi A3 caught my eye). But given the choice between having a "free" car and getting hammered by tax - or being paid about £600 per month for not having one, it was a pretty easy choice. Especially since I don't actually use my car for business anyway.
