It's been covered before but really, some drivers are appalling.

This week I have seen the following:

Two articulated lorries from the same company come though red lights at a fair old speed despite there being traffic already moving into the junction from a green light. First lorry caused everyone to stop and second barrelled through behind.

Another artic. coming through a red light. Thankfully, I'm a quick learner and now don't move on green for a few seconds or without a good look around.

Mondeo man, this morning, on a road with a strip of snow down the middle and thick fog overtakes seven cars despite the conditions and the approaching blind dip. He forced his way in on three occasions and then sped off through a 30 section on the wrong side. Not the first time he has done this.

A Transit towing a trailer cut right in front of me this morning (Praise be to UK brakes) and then signalled! I don't think he even knew I was there. I've tried ringing his comapny but no answer.

My postman had his car written off this week too. Driving along a two-lane road approaching a DCW he sees a car approaching on his side. It appears to not be about to move over so postman swerves onto wrong side, hoping the oncoming car will go past on the wrong side. It doesn't and at the last second swerves into him. No-one seriously hurt. Turns out the other driver was three time over the limit.

Have safe journeys home.

yesterday when waiting in a massive que in the snow. we were in the left hand lane, the right hand lane was a filter to turn right, if that makes sense. and there were traffic lights.

the lights were red and all the cars were pretty much stationary anyway. surprise surprise a BMW driver comes racing down the right hand lane, doesnt see the red light, and goes straight throught it, doing about 20mph in thick snow!

and you guessed it there was a girl crossing the road at the lights! luckily she saw the idiot driver and stopped walking just in time and he slide half way down the road doing an emergency stop in the snow.

the f**king idiot.

its shocking. You not only have to look out for yourself these days but for every tw@t on the roads  :run: But then, at some junctions the traffic light changes are so brief if you don't pause a sec at green light, traffic's still coming from the opposite direction (cus their jumping the red lights!) :(

Anyone notice the increase in foreigners on our roads, what i mean is foreign plates, left hand drive cars. They can often be seen overtaking anything in sight or undertaking up dual carriage ways, cutting people up or tailgating. The driving in europe is completely mental, they are so impatient compared to us brits.
