Lee P
Thinking about selling this kit if I can get the right money for it. Its the HKS 2835 full turbo kit, it has done only 1000 miles and still looks new. This is a full turbo kit comes with everything needed for a complete installation. This kit also comes with the polished heat shieldes which would normaly be extra. I have also Ceramic Heat coated the manifold and hot side of the turbos. The intercooler piping and turbo housings are also polished by wayne and look amazing. I have all the original boxes and packaging for this kit and it also comes with instructions. Most of it is already fully assembled on the manifold ready to go. I am looking for £3450 for this complete kit, it would normaly retail at £6000 without the extras! Lee P
Wow looks like a good twin set up!! what brake are these turbos good for? They will produce between 650 and 850bhp depending on your setup and with the right fueling.
Lee P
Why not just replace the turbos with larger then Lee ? Thought about that but for the cost of buying 2 new turbos plus all the modification to the flanges and downpipes its not worth it.

Glosphil
This sounds interesting, but I wouldnt know how to fit it, is it a complicated process ? I've running stock at the moment. CJ
This sounds interesting, but I wouldnt know how to fit it, is it a complicated process ? This is certainly not a DIY job unless you have a very good home set up and are knowledgable. I've running stock at the moment. What else would I need to be able to use this ? Thanks You would need a lot more than just the kit itself. Your fuelling system would need upgrading, you would need some form of engine management and mapping and you would probably need to upgrade your clutch if you were an manual car or your auto box. Thats before you started to think about strengthening the engine per se. This is a great kit at a good price but is not the finished article. Boo hoo, I dont have a clue lol I want power out of a tin... lol Whats the best way of getting 500-600 BHP but with matching torque ? without doing it myself because im not a mechanic. The cheapest method, all in, everything done. Or does someone want to do it for me ? lol

Lee P
Yes, but was hoping he'd offer to fit it for me for the same price lol Its not that bad to fit I did mine myself and Im not a mechanic, the hardest part is getting the stock twins off, thats a real PITA! I already have the kit fully assembled on the manifold so you just need to slide it onto the head, the manifold bolts are tricky to get to but not impossible. You would need at least the following mods to use kit. FMIC Piggyback or replacement ECU Uprated Injectors 650 or higher Uprated Fuel Pump Full Decat Uprated Clutch plate With these mods you could run the kit fine and see good horsepower (550BHP) at low boost anything more and you would need cams, complete fuel system, complete twin plate clutch pack. On my car these turbos made 500 at the hubs on 1 bar!

How come you need a new ecu ? and what one would you recommend ? Fuel pump.. Walbro right ? thats planned anyway for BPU. Decat also planned, just checking out if I can still insure it as it wont be road legal ? What clutch would you recommend ? still need it road usable so a silly paddle clutch is not that desirable. Can I stick injectors in now ? will it make any difference ? Need someone to do all this work for me really, I'll only mess it up.
Gruggs
what figures are possible from this set-up? when do they kick in? Cheers G

Please don't take this the wrong way but you obviously don't have a clue and really do need to speak to someone who can advise on fitting and the extras required. I already said I dont, hence why im asking, this sounds like a good deal, so if im given the right information he might sell it ! However im in no major rush. I was just going to go BPU which is what i've been researching and now know what to do more or less. But this is a lot more tempting. I drive the things, I build IT systems not cars so no have no clue apart from general principles.

Well said, aiming for big power like these is NOT is simple or cheap option. Research is the key and speak to some traders on the phone. they will give you good advice. Hi mate if you are serious about this then its probably better to give me a call or pm me. I can go through everything with you but as the guys are saying this kit does need supporting mods and needs to be done correctly. Its a serious bit of kit and is only for people looking for more than 500BHP from their car. Let me know Lee
Lee P
what figures are possible from this set-up? when do they kick in? Cheers G Hi mate they will produce 650 - 850bhp depending on setup but you do need the supporting mods to go with them to produce the big numbers. The big twin kits can be more laggy than the small singles but the power delivery is much smoother.
