Chris Wilson
I need to get my Skyline through an MOT and I suspect they'll want to see operating front indicators My I/C pipes preclude me putting the stock bulbs and their holders in the front indicator lens housings, I was thinking of securing a high brightness LED in each housing using Sikoflex, and wiring a connector to an extension of their pigtails. My worry is can you get white ones, as the lamp housing lenses give the amber colour? Will the very low current draw of an LED stop the flasher unit from working properly, as if a buld had failed? If so can I use a resitor or even parallel the LED with a hidden 21 watt 12 volt bulb to create the load? Where can I buy high brightness, 12 volt white light LEDs by mail order? Thanks. It's only to get through the test, the install doesn't have to last 100K miles!

Supra ST Myster
if you install normall high brightness LEDs they will flash quickly so you will need a resistor to go with them, obviously fitted across the led.
