merckx
Anyone know where to get some instructions and a wiring diagram for a Sigma M30 Alarm. I've just bought a communications module that will ring me up if my alarm goes off, but I need to find a pager output from the alarm. I've also got a keypad fitted with the Sigma Alarm but I don't have the code. Any help much appreciated.
Matt Harwood
I should be able to help you with this. I'll be in touch once later this morning.
michael
I had one of those, very robust system - sadly I can't help with any of the info you need as I gave all my docs away with the car - however if you find out how to reset the code can you PM me - I changed mine to something I'd remember and then forgot it - the default used to be 1234 though. Matt Harwood
The wire you'd need to connect to on an M30 would be the Green/Orange. This gives a low current negative output when the alarm triggers. As for pin code change, I can do it via one of my programmers (CP1), but my book doesn't tell me how to do it via the keypad. I will find out for you though, and send you a PM. (Both of you). I won't publish it on the BBS for obvious reasons.
merckx
Great - Green / Orange wire it is. Thanks for the help Matt My communications module also has an input for the alarm status , it must need to know whether the Sigma Alarm is armed or disarmed. Any ideas which one this would be? Cheers
Matt Harwood
Yep, Green/Black.
merckx
Thanks again Matt Should be able to get my communications module fitted now. The wiring for the alarm isn't particularly easy to get at but I shouldn't have any problems. Cheers
paulfurn
Does anyone know where I can purchase one of these modules from? My fiancee has an FTO with that alarm, but I dont think it had the module. It would be nice to add it to her alarm if possible, as she is a nurse and often works nights. As such she is petrified of her car getting broken into or worse in the hospital car park. I guess this would help ease the worry a bit.
