TLicense
Watching the fruits of the last 9 month's hard work.... I went to the first shake-down of the this years car. The Spyker F8-VII. All in all everything ran fairly smoothly. The main problem was the fact that the track was soooo cold, which limited the running we could do to about 11oclock till 4oclock. Albers was driving. Anyway here's a few pics:-

Pete
Fantastic stuff Tony! Is it sponsored by Dynorod? How many of these will they make? I guess they need loads of spares in case of the worse, I doubt you could knock one of those nose cones up in a week - or could they? Alex
Is that a flat twin keel or a zero keel I can't quite tell? What made you go for the triple deck front wing ala McLaren? Hope it does well for you! The RB3 is looking pretty poor so far!

TLicense
Thats a very fine looking car, unlike the monstrosity that Renault have launched this year. Well it was a nice car until Sutil shunted it yesterday and wiped off the suspension on one side. Although to be fair, it was good that he was pushing hard, and luckily no chassis damage. Very nice. I would love a set of those brakes!! Is that a temperature strip that I spot on them ? Surprised at how large the radiator is too. Yep, it's temp strip. We also use temp paint on the outside of the discs. All teams try to get the rads to be as BIG as they can. We regulate the cooling by altering the size of the exit chimney. Is that a flat twin keel or a zero keel I can't quite tell? What made you go for the triple deck front wing ala McLaren? Hope it does well for you! The RB3 is looking pretty poor so far! It's twin keel, but I can't say any more than that. The front wing is just a development item. Everyone's tried them at some time or another. 'nother question....what's Mike G like to work with? Mike's OK. Very direct, which is good. I worked with him back in the Jordan days and he got good results there. Personally I like him, as he makes a strategic decision and then lets you get on with it, and doesn't interfere. Overall a good guy.

Gordon F
Well it was a nice car until Sutil shunted it yesterday and wiped off the suspension on one side. Although to be fair, it was good that he was pushing hard, and luckily no chassis damage. You'll get used to it. Sutil did some A1 GP races for us last year and shunted everywhere he went He'll keep the boys busy.

TLicense
Nice, I quite like the colour, would cosnider painting my Zeus that colour What's the coating on the exducer part of the exhaust? Ceramic? Ooops, sorry missed this one Chris. The photo's don't do the colour justice to be fair. It's errrmm how shall I say, a lot more vivid in the flesh. Not as loud as the Jordan EJ10 I worked on in 2000. Now that was a nice colour. Perleascant yellow. I can't remember the exact figure, but the weight of the paint was shocking. But hey, the sponsors liked it. The coating is a type of ceramic yes, and exactly the same thing will be on my exhaust manifold and turbo downpipes etc by the end of next week.
