tooquicktostop
Well after buying an Auto single supra because my Skyline's clutch was getting on my nerves in London traffic I have now purchased everything to go 6 speed manual, Turbofit are going to do the work and re map my new AEM (again), decided to make the change when mapping the car last week and while on the dyno the auto box started slipping at 400bhp, Dan left the car at 1.0 bar so as to not damage the auto box, 6 speed should allow me to wind it up to 1.4 now I have the fuel sorted and see a much better figure, will keep you posted

Gamer
£4K is a good figure to go by, that would include all the parts needed including an uprated clutch (depending on your power goals) and the labor charges. It could be cheaper, it all depends on what price you get the parts for.
Jezz
£3000 fitted, with a stock clutch. £2200 for ALL the parts from me, and i believe Turbofit charge £800 for fitting.

I need to have a word with Turbofit! Excuse my stupidity,.. but is this a Getrag box? AFAIK (which is very little) Getrag is 6 spd and the standard is 5spd. Is that right? Pabs
this i asked a while back, but figures between 2-10k were mentioned. I certainly would consider an auto TT (perhaps aerotop) and then converting - especially as it seems decent auto TT's can be had for anything around 6-7k now And then you'd know you've got a new, and uprated clutch too! (and whatever else you decide to purchase new)

(and whatever else you decide to purchase new) And as I have an aerotop TT in immaculate condition, could this potentially add value to my car by doing this? I bought my car back in May last year for around £11k. So £3-4K would be a good figure to look at? I might start saving!
