Question

The bit where Hugh & JC explain that one needs to sit at an angle in a porche (lower half pointed inwards due to it being right hand drive) and the steering facing forward....

can anyone explain that in more detail? the reasoning behind it? and why its particular to some cars (JC mentioned the Lancia too)

It's because they were designed as wrong hand drive cars and the pedals, steering column, etc can't be located in quite the correct position when making a right hand drive version.

We have similar problems when fitted single turbo kits that were designed for yank Supras to our RHD Supes.

think they ment the pedals and sterring wheel wern't straight so your body was abit twisted when driving, eg top half straight with the wheel but legs at a angel to be srtaight on the pedals, i think.
