How many soldiers can you buy for $700bn?

I love the way he's keen to spend all that killing people who threaten America but isn't too fussed about actually looking after the people who live there.

If congress did approve the request, the US would have spent $661.9bn on combat in Iraq and Afghanistan since the war began, the administration said.

The irony is that a portion of this money is being spent on rebuilding things that they blew up in Iraq / Afghanistan or swimming pools that nobody wants to use, money well spent!

Surely for that kind of cash you could buy a forcefield over the US and be done with it? Just leave a little door for MVP orders to come through :)

They dont care about how much damage they are inflicting by invading other countries. They don't care about the innocent lives lost.

The don't care about the citizens of the US

And they certainly don't care about their own soldiers being killed on a regular basis.

Not to mention the torrid future that they are painting for years to come......war on terrorism my arse, this is turning out to be war to recruit and spread terrorism.

But at the end of the day, war (in this case, invasions) is good business.....great for the economy, perfect to line up the pockets of the rich and corrupt....
