A big single supra with a 8000 rpm limit can hit about 50 in first, and top over 200mph, so i have to say 0-60 is a figure that would never cross my mind. 60 to 120 or 80 to 160 or something now thats interesting and a better example of power, as 0-60 is a traction competition to me.

SupraNick - thought your Gunmetal car was running a TO4R?

Yeah that's what Paul was told it had, it spools at 4500rpm and has a greddy manifold :search:

IMO, for road cars, a zero to sixty or any other time is pretty meaningless, what I'd like to see is independently (;)) timed 50 to 80 MPH times in direct top gear, or a known and repeatable ratio, manually held in an auto. That is relatively easy to measure, doesn't rip the life out of the drivetrain, and is a very meaningful real world performance measure. Sadly, big N/A's will probably whoop all but the best matched and mapped turbo cars!

The pedal on the left is the clutch:rolleyes: , it's for changing down to leave the economy, low torque (safer on greasy roads) rev range, to use the excellent power band single have.

Only you GRANNY races from 60mph in 5th or 6th :p
