Turbo lag?

TTC stands for true twin conversion i believe.

Basically both turbo's are online all the time. this gives a poorer low end pickup but there's no switching of the turbo's at 3500-4000rpm just a steady building of boost but still quite a pronounced 'hit' at approx 4000rpm.

My old TT manual was (unknown to me) set up like this and i never thought anything of it, and only the next owner noticed!

TTC can be done mechanically or electrically. Mine was done the mechanical way (wedging open a vsv or something?) but plenty of people have it electrically adjusted (Matt H can do this) and this gives you the option of both systems at the flick of a cockpit switch.

TTC will make the exhaust note louder too if thats your thing!

Yeah, I've lost to almost every type of Supra :) Even ones driven by girls!

Maybe the auto I drove wasn't too chipper or something, just seemed like every other auto I've driven.
