SilverSoop
I recently took my car to have its MOT done. Hoping it would pass but i must admit i was a bit anxious about it though. The thing is, it didnt pass. Why....because both of my shocks had gone!! plus my pads but i knew that i needed some anyway. Its just really annoying and potentially dangerous that they can sell a car to you with so much wrong with the car. I asked the mechanic how long he thought it had been leaking, he reckoned for ages! But the car passes its MOT the year before when i bought it! What a total wa**er. The result was £440. Its done now and its passed but to everyone on here, just be really wary of cocks like this dealer!!

SilverSoop
Was it a Hampshire Dealer mate? No mate, it was from a dealer in swindon. If you log on to http://www.carnetonline.co.uk thats where i bought the car from. Hes a private dealer but has the cars delivered to his home. So what ever you do, DO NOT buy a car from him. Within three weeks of buying the car, my clutch went! Just an example of how dodgy that company and that dealer is. He screwed me over big time. Im well pissed off! SupraAyf
Sorry to hear that you had to throw 440 quid away. Have you had a chat with him or is his after-sales service as good as the GT-Cars one
Pete
That's what general car dealers do! Why do you think they've got a reputation for being slimy untrustworthy characters?

SupraAyf
Cool, ive put my name down but i dont know the way! If you follow the M275 in to Portsmouth and just keep going straight to the coast (Southsea). The meet is 50m away from the Hover Craft Terminal and is initiated within the bus stand area;)

It shows that this mechanic doesn't know Supras - the stock shocks have a really small reservoir, so it only takes a small leak for them to lose most of their fluid. Doesn't have to have been leaking for long for the fluid to get too low.
