edge
Insured my new TT i will be picking up soon but as the insurance says they expect my proof of no claims which is not a problem but it also requires a cat 1 certificate. The place i will keep the car is secure and i wont be leaving it out of my sight if i can help it. But its worth having anyhow. Can anyone reccomend a fairly cheap but not crap alarm that price will include fitting and thatcham certificate ? Thanks in advance.

edge
http://www.cruising4pussy.co.uk/store/ is quite good and cheap,iv had a few from them before I cant find a fitting service. This may be totally wrong but i thought to get a cat 1 certificate it had to be installed by a qualified person etc. Sorry to sound thick but all my cars have had standard stuff or alarms already fitted. cheers

Looks realy good from the description. Has anyone got one of these? Also what is a Valet /service mode, 4 digit pin with stealth switch.? bondango
Would also recommend the Toad Ai606, around £210 fitted from ebay sellers. When you normally switch of engine and close doors, after 30 seconds the alarm will auto activate. The valet switch stops this and only will arm from the keyfob. So if you washing the car, or cleaning the inside, you dont need the ignition on. Think the keypad lets you override the alarm if you have misplaced your fobs.
