You obviously haven't looked around here much then ;)

haha, true, but in my experience there are some really terrible forums out there. Some places are really clicky and unfriendly too. Here I have to say is the best forum ive ever used, with a large amount of decent folk on here willing to help you. Ive learnt so much from here too, its quite amazing what you pick up.

Well, this seems to be working out nicely. Now to get the NA owners, non-red Supra owners and lardy UK spec owners out of here and I can settle down with a beer.:D

I'm confused....as a red UK-spec owner, am I welcome under this new regime or not??? :p

I've just been asked a damn good question by my housemate. Did Toyota ever make an estate version of the Aristo? Maybe a Stagea type thing?

does it really matter as a lot of chat on here has fuck all to do with supras anyway besides the lexus forum is boring. i dont think there can be an aristo owner that doesnt love supras but if you need the room then it has to be aristo. as long as they are not wankers let them enjoy:Pling:

Norwegian's have a reputation of being crazy when it comes to performance cars. Would some one try guessing what car this Supra-engine was fitted in?

Yeah, it is a Volvo S90R, would you welcome him as a member to your forum? ;)

my opinion is that a member is purely somebody who has signed up on this BBS. A paid member is one who has paid obviously.

Both the above do not take into account the member's car.

This forum is for people who want to comment and give positive input to the Supra ownership topics and Supra related ownership topics which includes Aristo's and other hybrid cars with Supra parts and also wierd projects with mix and match chassis and engines that use Supra parts

I don't think the original post was to divide the members with their choice of cars and whether they should be allowed on the forum or not.... I think it was more of a probing question as to what qualifies as a Supra.

Does it have to be the full combination of chassis and engine and body shell ie. Would a Supra chassis and Supra shelled car but with a supercharged ford V8 engine in it still be classed as a Supra?? IMO no, but others may differ.

I think that was the line of discussion this thread was supposed to go in.

Although i may be now classed in the "Wanker" category due to some jousting in previous threads, the forum is about the best site for info regarding the Aristo and Supra engines, plus it has a large membership base, club aristo is picking up but i don't suppose there are many Aristo owners in the whole country so it would perhaps not get as big as this, i joined up when i had a supra and have just stayed, although when i had the n/a supra there were plenty wanting it to be just a TT forum, there is a lot of info on here so us Aristo boys like to keep our hands in at times:)

I don't get why this thread was started? what was the point?

Think the clue's in the title mate :)

I got the general impression it was started as a discussion-type thing with no opinions either way originally expressed. Seems to have gone slightly off-track though (surprise surprise).

:D :d
